Mutumbu Bungalow Project Development

The 3 bed bungalow seen above following completion of the First Floor Slab. The foundation consists of reinforced concrete strip foundations and 4/5 courses of foundation walling that lead to the ground floor slab. Captured above at sunset the sunlight streams in to the family room section of the building.

Below is the Superstructure walling that continued during the month of April 2023. At this stage, the client begins to get an idea of the actual spaces in their entirety as we continue to fine tune locations of electrical sockets that will be installed on the walling.

By May the ring beam was being installed and the video below captures the striking off of the formwork to the ring beam installation. We design a gutter beam that helps create a cantilevered concept to the top of the building as well as have efficient drainage of roof water.

The building progressed and seen below in June is the final execution of the superstructure work. The before and after images show that the design was executed to design intent.
