MODO was involved in the design of two residential buildings that form part of a mixed housing development in Watamu. The Development consists 6 villas and 2 apartmnet blocks all used as getaway holiday homes.

The 3 bedroom apartment consists of open plan living spaces of a Kitchen, Dining and Lounge accessed from a central lobby and corridor space. The lounge opens up to an expansive balcony overlooking the Garden and Swimming pool space with the infinite ocean beyond.

From the central corridor space, the apartment has 3 ensuite bedrooms and a public cloak room. The upper floor contains a meeting room, a serving kitchen and an entertainment terrace.

Each apartment has two reserved parking spaces with the main facade architectural elements consisting Coral stone cladding, White textured walls and a decorative staircase pattern to bring character to the facade. The final elements that enhances the coastal essence are a stream of waterfalls set on dark grey stone cladding evoking relaxation through the natural flowing sound and sight.
